Government Regulations

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulates the wineries’ sale and distribution of their products in Ontario. It has certain rules that apply to the sale and delivery of wine, most notably the requirement that alcohol can only be delivered to a person 19 years of age or older, who is not intoxicated. Therefore, the delivery agent is obligated to ensure your age and obtain your signature before handing over the order.

1. Canada Post orders are $15 for 2 to 6 bottles

2. Canada Post orders are $20 for a case (12 bottles)

3. Direct Delivery is available, at the cost of $30 for the first 2 to 12 bottles

4. All orders include a $5.00 handling charge

5. A .10 cent deposit has been added to each bottle of Northern Ice Icewine

Canada Post toll-free number for information 1-800-267-1177. Should you not be available to accept and sign for your order, Canada Post will leave a Delivery Notice providing directions for you to collect your wine at a convenient postal outlet nearby.

The Ice House is conscientious about the environmental impact of its operations. For this reason, we use corrugated cardboard for the bulk of our packaging, and a minimal amount of additional cushioning material.
